Ok here we go…
First of all I want to say, I am no math genius but I admire those who are. Oh I enjoyed math as a child, addition, subtraction, multiplying and dividing when it was in its simplest forms I even enjoyed basic algebra, it was fun. And then real mathematics came along…no more math for me.
Definition of mathematics:
noun: mathematics; noun: applied mathematics; noun: pure mathematics
- the abstract science of number, quantity, and space. Mathematics may be studied in its own right ( pure mathematics ), or as it is applied to other disciplines such as physics and engineering ( applied mathematics ).
- the mathematical aspects of something.
This is way beyond my mind capacity. But I enjoy the concept of figuring out, in my mind’s eye, the abstract of something…anyhoo…let’s move on…
Math and Science go hand in hand it’s everywhere you look…
Imagine having a mind like Albert Einstein…there is others but I chose Einstein to talk about because; well because I like him.…
[Gravity Probe B showed this to be correct. In 1905, Albert Einstein determined that the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers, and that the speed of light in a vacuum was independent of the motion of all observers. This was the theory of special relativity. Jul 12, 2016]
Better yet imagine having a mind like God, the designer and creator of all things…He does say to have the mind of Christ…So amazing!!! I’m like a little kid in a candy shop…How magnificent and glorious is our God!!
Now back to why I’m even bringing this up…
As usual in my morning routine, I was reading my bible and I came across the word ‘moment.’ And here is what I found…which caused great enthusiasm and my reason to write this morning…
Read the whole chapter of I Corinthians 15, for the full understanding, but the following verse is what made me sit up at take notice. (Paul is talking about the ones who know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.)
I Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold I tell you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment…
Strong’s #826 Moment–atmos. Compare “atomizer” and “atomic” Uncut, indivisible, undissected, infinitely small. The word is a compound of a “un” and “temnos”, “to cut in two.”
Now here comes the mind blowing part…
When used of time, it represents an extremely short unit of time,
A unit of time that cannot be divided.
A second can be calibrated to one-tenth, one one-hundredth, and one one-thousandth of a second.
But how do you calibrate an atomic second?
Christ’s return will be in an atomic second!!!
Do you see it? Can you imagine how quick that will be…?
That’s why he says to watch…be alert…for when you least expect it He will come, like a thief in the night…be ready…have your lamps trimmed and your oil full…(2 Peter 3:10, Revelation 16:15, I Thess. 5:1-4, Luke 12:35)
Another really amazing thing I got this morning is in I Corinthians 15:23 (KJV)
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
The second advent of Jesus was never used to describe His first coming—
The word coming… Strong’s #3952 Parousia…(par-oo-see-ah)
Parousia originally was the term for a visit by a person of ‘high rank,’ especially a king. It was an arrival that included a permanent presence from that coming onward. The glorified Messiah’s arrival will be followed by a permanent residence with His glorified people. (Praise the Lord Jesus!!!!)
We will be like Him!
Mathematics…it’s not so bad!
